If you know that area I would start taking weekend trips to see different apartments. Drive up and through the area. I would start looking for a job asap because they are hard to find right now. I would register with staffing but they **** also. I mean they really don't send you out. The keep you on hand until something comes up then they call you. If you wait on a staffing company to pay your bills you will be out on the street. Sign up with them but DO NOT depend on them. Start looking in the AJC (Atlanta Journal Constitution). Go on Monster and Career Builder. Search search search. I would save all I can. You will need a job to get into an apartment complex. Good Luck and Welcome to the A

I would be more conservative that the other answer. You should have 6 months of living expenses saved up whether or not you already have a job. That includes moving expenses, rent for 6 months, and money for utilities/food/gas/other necessities.

By all means, sign up with staffing companies, but also make sure you keep an up to date resume on Monster and keep looking in the AJC and any other job board you can find.

You are going to want to have enough money for First months rent, security and at least enough $ for 2 more months of rent just in case you don't get a job right away. That's me though I like to be prepared!
Have fun in GA
