What is the best way to get your resume noticed if you are seeking relocation to a specific area?
vikes534 asked:
I am interested in relocating to a specific area, but have noticed that positions that I am well qualified for, I am not getting called for a phone interview. Maybe it is the quality of my resume, but I believe that hiring managers and recuriters are looking at my current address, seeing that I am not local to the area, and putting me in the no thanks pile.

Are there tricks to relocation, and getting noticed in the area that you want to move to?

We need not and should not play tricks in our resume. If we feel that this is the reason for not selecting then the same can be mentioned very clear that you are looking for re-location.

It is very important to make your résumé according to the job description of a company, many student employees try to make a generic résumé which does not work in this very competitive environment, whenever to submit your résumé make sure that you high light the area(s) of interest or the designation that you are applying for.
Try to make “one page” résumé.
