Broad question alert!! More questions than answers follow.

How about narrowing things down a bit? You seem young, as in early 20’s, maybe some college?

First you need to sit down with yourself and decide some things. Why do you want to relocate? Bored with TX? Problems in TX? Why CA? What skills do you have? A degree? Experience?

The first thing you should be aware of is that the cost of living just about anywhere in TX is much lower than just about anywhere in CA. So, you will need quite a boost in income to make ends meet.

How much stuff do you have that you want to take with you? A car load? A moving van load? or a suitcase?

Do you have a good reliable car? Will you be taking a bus or train or plane to LA?

We are just scratching the surface here. A lot depends on what job you can get. You can start by searching Monster.com for jobs in CA. Maybe you can find one that will cover your relocation.
